Message
Since its founding, Pantech has strived to create a system where resources circulate effortlessly by discovering new possibilities in materials that would otherwise be discarded, refining them, and reconnecting fragmented relationships. However, what we aim for is not simply resource recycling. It is the implementation of a "win-win-win" principle where PARTNER, PANTECH , and PLANET harmonize at a high level. That is our vision of sustainability.
A future where recycled resources are not something we use out of necessity, but are accepted by society as a trusted and preferred material. A world where resource recycling is not just an initiative of a few companies, but a social infrastructure in which everyone naturally participates.
Achieving this requires both on-site implementation capabilities and design skills to define the structure. We will not limit ourselves to our own knowledge and network, but will work with diverse partners to co-create the very foundation of a sustainable society. Towards an era where circularity is not merely an "activity," but a "prerequisite" for all industries, Pantech will fulfill its responsibility as a "Regeneration Designer," connecting materials, people, and society.

Pantech's ESG
Pantech is committed to building the foundation for a circular economy from environmental (E), social (S), and governance (G) perspectives. Our definition of sustainability is not simply about reducing environmental impact. It is about building a network of trust with diverse stakeholders, including waste generators, recycling and processing companies, consumers, and government agencies, and designing and implementing the social structure itself in which recycled resources are created, distributed, used, and valued.

Sustainability Activities
Pantech initiatives
As a company involved in the recycling of plastic resources, we are committed to fulfilling our corporate social responsibility by not only focusing on our core business but also undertaking initiatives to promote "Eco-Plastics®" as a form of social contribution.
"Kanpla®" Workshop
Although the importance of plastic resource recycling is widely recognized, the process is often invisible to consumers, making it difficult to fully understand the reality of the situation. Pantech aims to "visualize" plastic material recycling and plans and implements experiential workshops that allow participants to experience the entire process from crushing unwanted plastics to recycling raw materials and their transformation into new products. To date, we have conducted workshops aimed at educating and raising awareness about plastic resource recycling at various events, including the Osaka-Kansai Expo and the Shiga Prefectural Museum.
"Kanpla®" Seminar
Plastic resource recycling cannot be completed by a single company, and collaboration between companies alone is insufficient. To ensure a stable and continuous resource recycling system, "co-creation" among many stakeholders, including consumers, is essential. Pantech conducts seminars on plastic resource recycling and compliance with environmental regulations for local governments, industry associations, business partners, and even educational institutions such as high schools and universities, expanding the circle of support for "Eco-Plastic®".
ourcapital
As part of our awareness campaign for plastic resource recycling, we are developing "ourcapital," a collaborative upcycling project using used PET bottle caps. This initiative involves collecting and recycling familiar materials (caps) to create benches, which are then installed in public facilities and utilized as shared assets (capital) in the community. Based in Shiga Prefecture, where our headquarters are located, we are collaborating with diverse stakeholders and spreading a circle of behavioral change throughout Japan through visible examples of recycling.

As a member of the international community, our company addresses important issues (materiality) that contribute to sustainable growth for society and the global environment, and strives to achieve environmental protection and customer satisfaction through our business activities.
Basic policy
- Throughout all our business activities, we promote compliance obligations, environmental pollution prevention and conservation activities, and continuous improvement of our performance and systems.
- In addition to our business activities, which are centered on the circular economy, we will promote activities related to the SDGs, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted at the UN Summit and set out to be achieved over a 15-year period from 2016 to 2030.
- We incorporate the material issues identified in our environmental and quality objectives, strive to achieve them, and regularly review them to reflect changing circumstances.
- We will document this environmental and quality policy so that all employees understand it and can perform their duties accordingly. We will also post the environmental and quality policy and provide training to ensure that everyone is aware of and understands its contents.
- In order to make our business activities more effective and to enhance our corporate value, we will consider the following:
- To prevent global warming, we will promote energy conservation in areas such as electricity and gas, and reduce CO₂ emissions.
- We aim to prevent global pollution and make effective use of natural resources by promoting the total production of industrial waste reduction.
- Based on the "win-win-win" philosophy, we aim to improve overall performance by incorporating the needs of our stakeholders into our business activities.
